COURSE FEES

The following policies apply to courses hosted directly by Tundra Medical Resources. Courses sponsored by other organizations may have different requirements; please contact the host organization directly for details.

Tundra Medical Resources accepts cash, Government cheque, PayPal, debit and credit card payments.

Booking Deposits

Deposits are required at the time of booking for courses sponsored by Tundra Medical Resources. Seats are not confirmed until the deposit is processed. For group bookings, we accept both one payment for the group or payments from each member of the group.

 

Deposits are 100% non-refundable.

 

Deposits may be credited towards a future course, provided all the following conditions are met:

  • Written notice is received by the Tundra Medical Resources office (email is accepted) at least fourteen (14) days prior to the course start date,

  • The student registers for another course within the same training year (April 1-March 31) which has available seats, and

  • The student has not cancelled more than two (2) courses within the same training year.

Deposits may be transferred to another student who wishes to attend the course for which it was originally intended, provided all information is received by Tundra Medical Resources at least fourteen (14) days prior to course start date. It is the responsibility of the withdrawing student to provide the following to Tundra Medical Resources in writing:

  • The request to transfer the deposit to another student

  • The name of the substitute student

  • The contact information for the substitute student

The substitute student must pay the balance due on the course in accordance with the Tundra Medical Resources "Course Fees" below.

Course Fees

Fee payment due dates are included on your invoice. Unless otherwise stated, course fees are due fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the course start date. Failure to submit final payment on time may result in the loss of your seat and your deposit (see above "booking deposits"). For group bookings, we accept both one payment for the group or payments from each member of the group. Invoices are sent at the time of registration.

It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that payment arrives at Tundra Medical Resources prior to the cut-off date. A receipt will be issued when payment is processed. Payments can be processed by phone, etransfer, PayPal or in person; however paying securely through the emailed invoice is preferred. Please do not mail cash.

Students registering within fourteen (14) days of the course start date must pay in full at the time of booking.

Refunds

Students who wish to withdraw from a course after full payment will be provided with credit towards a future course within the same training year (April 1 to March 31).

Students may request a refund in lieu of future course credit. Fees are refunded on a pro-rated basis in accordance with the date which a written withdrawal notice is received by Tundra Medical Resources and do not include the non-refundable deposit paid at the time of registration.

  • more than 14 days before course start: 100%

  • 10-14 days before course start: 75%

  • 5-10 days before course start: 50%

  • 0-5 days before course start: 0%

Students who attend any portion of a course for which they are enrolled are not eligible for a refund.

Cancellation by Instructor

In the unlikely event that Tundra Medical Resources is forced to cancel a course, all efforts will be made to provide a minimum of fourteen (14) days notice. Students who have already paid fees will be offered the option of a full refund, or credit towards a future course.

 

If Tundra Medical must cancel or reschedule a course with less than fourteen (14) days notice, students will be refunded 5% of the course fees upon transfer to a future course of equal training and price. Students opting to enrol in a course of higher or lower training as a substitute will be given a 5% discount off the tuition price of the new course. Students who choose not to enrol in a future course may request a full refund upon receiving notice of course cancellation.
